  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. Cream together Crisco, eggs, vanilla, sugar
  3. Blend in vinegar, cocoa & red food color
  4. Mix together flour, salt & baking powder
  5. Add one cup of flour mixture & mix 1 minute
  6. Next add cup of sour cream, mix one minute
  7. Add last cup of flour & mix until everything is blended - scrape down sides of bowl
  8. Grease & flour a bundt pan. Add mixture & bake for 1 hour to 1 hour 10 minutes depending on oven
  9. Remove from oven & let cool for 10 minutes
  10. Invert onto cake plate. Once cool, drizzle with cream cheese frosting
  11. Frosting: Mix together 1 stick of butter, 1 block of cream cheese, 1 box of powdered sugar & 2 tsp of vanilla extract. Pecans optional.

The Icing was bland and honestly tasted like flour. Overall the cake was nothing special. However I am willing to try it again just to make sure it was not my own fault.
