Make a paste of cocoa and red food coloring; add to creamed mixture. Add the flour to the batter, alternating with the buttermilk mixture, mixing just until incorporated. Mix soda and vinegar and gently fold into cake batter. Beat in food coloring, vinegar and vanilla.

  1. Take a bowl and add plain flour in it. Now add cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, salt in it and sieve it to remove lumpses. Keep it aside.
  2. Take another bowl and add butter in it. Add powdered sugar and beat it with beater at slow speed. Now gradually add eggs and beat it again. Add 1 tbsp vanilla essence and food colour, vinegar and beat it again till it turns to creamy texture. Now add dry ingredients in it and beat it again.
  3. Take cake mould and grease it with butter and put butter paper in it. Now add cake batter in mould and bake it for 35 min at 180°c.
  4. After this take another bowl and add cream cheese in it. Add icing sugar and vanilla essence in it and mix it gradually and slowly. Now add whipped cream in it and mix it again. Our cream cheese frosting is ready.
  5. Take cake and remove butter paper from it and cut its sides to avoid cake being hard. Cut the cake from middle and apply chesse frosting over it. Put another portion of cake and apply chesse frosting on it. Now cover the whole cake with chesse frosting and spread cake crumbles over it. Decorate it with whipped cream and cherries.
