- Grease a cake pan. Preheat oven to 180 degree centigrade for 10 mins.
- Pour the batter into the greased pan and bake the cake for 35-40 mins. Start checking from 35 mins. A tooth pick inserted should come out clean. Remove it from the oven, let it stand for about 5 mins, invert it and let it cool down completely.
- While the cake is baking make the chocolate frosting. Take the cream and chocolate chips in a sauce pan and heat it.
- When chocolate starts to melt switch off the flame. Add the cocoa powder and mix well till everything is combined well and smooth. Set aside. Your frosting is ready.
- Now take the cake spread the sugar syrup over the cake. Now evenly spread the frosting all over the cake with the help of a stapula or knife and finally dust the cocoa powder over the cake. Cut and serve.
