- In a bowl take vinegar and soda. Mix it. And add to the batter.
- Now pour the mixture into the tin and bake it at 180β for 15to 20 min, or till cake cooked properly.
- Remove and cool it.
- Microwave the chocolate, till it melts. Remove it.fill it into a piping bag. Take butter paper, and make the desired design. Apply it on the cake. Cake is ready.
Overall the cake was nothing special. However I am willing to try it again just to make sure it was not my own fault. The "red" makes sense, but what about the "velvet" in this cake's iconic name? Food historians says it was a common description during the Victorian era, when the term described cakes that had an especially soft and "velvety" crumb.
